Has a solution been addressed or found in regards to ther white lines on
the Epson Stylus Color 850 printer?

Actually, I don't have any white lines on my print outs. The closest
printer I have to yours is an Epson Stylus Color 600. It prints fine

Occasionally it has white lines, but that is from clogged ink jet heads.
Running the printer through a cleaning cycles fixes it. I assume you have
ruled this out with a test print using the printers utilities that came
with it.
