Hi Deron:

1. When PgS is run the document window is in the right place
(repositioning works fine here), but once PgS has been minimized, when
it is reopened the document window returns higher, is on top of the tool
bar, and can't be repositioned. - Some times it is completely over the
tool bar. Sometimes some tools show on top, and sometimes the whole tool
bar is above the document top bar. - I thought some version of this
problem was already fixed.

2. Lock button doesn't work. I thought this was already fixed in this
version.
Now, when an object is selected and the lock button is clicked on from
the edit palette the lock button turns on but the cursor stays busy
until the object is deselected, and then it is not locked.

3. The keyboard shortcut for `Align' doesn't work.

4. The keyboard shortcut for `Group' also doesn't work, but the
`ungroup' does work. The rest of the shortcuts seem to work fine.

Since my PgS Wintell system can't print text properly, and my Amiga is
still in the hospital, I've had to do a project in WordPerfect. Now
there's an exercise that really makes one appreciate PgS!

Morning Deron:
There's some -OOP's- in here this morning. Last night I was working on
my drawing again and suddenly realized that I was using the keyboard
shortcuts for Align and group, and they were working, so this morning I
tried to find out what was going on.

Of course, I don't know what was going on the last time I used the
program, because I thought I had tried each of the shortcuts several
times.

This morning it all seem to be connected to the first-time problems.
When PgS is run and a document is loaded there are several functions
that don't work the first try, and it has to do with the first use of
PgS:
- New run PgS, doc, select an object. At this point no keyboard short
cuts will work (A, D, R, T), but the functions will work through the
menu. Attempt to select a second object by holding down the shift key
and clicking. Most of the time the two objects appear to be selected,
but the busy signal is still present. Once in while the selection is
successful (this is always talking about new run of PgS, & doc). If the
two objects are selected successfully the shortcuts still don't work. At
this point if the blank screen is clicked on to deselect the objects now
the shortcuts work. now one or more objects can be selected, and all the
shortcuts work. Sometimes if (new run, doc) object is selected and then
deselected the sortcuts will now work.
Once everything is working if the document is closed and a new one
opened, everything still works. (Of course if PgS has been minimized and
then maximized the document can lot be closed.)

- The first time one attempts to use the elastic band, it doesn't work,
leaves a dot on the screen and the busy signal comes on. Click on area
with no objects to deselect the busy. Now it work. This function is not
fixed just because the shortcuts are working, it has to be tried once
before it will be fixed.

I tried (new run PgS, doc) using elastic band first. got it working,
selected three objects with elastic, `A' still didn't work. Deselect
objects. Select one object, `A' still not working. Deselect object and
select again, now `A' works.

I hope this description is not too confusing.
