I have had some problems with converting the files to PDF. It seems
that the text alignment goes away and other formating goes way off. If
needed I can attach a copy of both the original file and the PDF file.

You're email did take long to reach us! 6-9 and now 16-9 (or 0-6 now 9-16).

I do not have that kind of problems.
Which Windows version (PageStream) do you use?
How do you create the PDF? Internal in PGS (Save as PDF) or do you use
Adobe Acrobat or other PDF making applications?

I am using Adobe Acrobat and Distiller, and apart from some PGS faults,
it is working very good.
The latest working one is 5.0.3.4, and not the latest PGS 5.0.4.3 who
crashes each time (Save as PDF or Send to PostScript file).

If you want more people see and answering your problem, I suggest you
ask the same at PageStreamSupport again.

That was my fault. Because of spammers, years ago I changed the list to
require new subscribers posts to be held for approval .I usually get an
email saying that a message is awaiting approval, but for some reason I
did see one from this post and it was just because I was cleaning up the
pending spam that I found this one. Sorry Ben! The good news is that
your future posts should go straight through.

I am going to guess that he is using a font which is not available to
the PDF viewer. Since older versions don't embed the fonts, you would
get a different font used and hence a different display. In this case,
you need to either use the base 14 fonts (helvetica/arial, times,
courier, dingbats, symbol as I recall), or save a postscript file to
disk and process it using a PS to PDF program or server. Or wait for the
next beta which should fix the new PDF functions.
