What is the correct way to officially report bugs? Should they just
be listed on this list or is there something else I should be
doing? I have identified two problems that exist in the current beta
that did not exist in previous versions.

There's no rule book that I know of but this list has seen plenty of bug
reports, suggested fixes from other users (not just Deron), and reports
from other users on whether their experience was or wasn't the same. A
good way for a beta list to function.

Here's the url of the PageStream bug tracking system:
http://pagestream.org/showbugs.php. You'll have to sign in to add your
bugs to it. There are provisions for any registered user to add comments
to existing bug reports, so you can have a dialogue going just as here.
You can, of course, make reports here on the list, but someone (probably
Deron) is going to have to convert them to proper bug reports. Mostly
likely he works from the bug tracker, not this list.

The bug tracking system is a home-brew job and is simple and mostly
intuitive to use. The only thing I remember as confusing is that the
Comment section creates a separate entity and is not part of the
original bug report.

Another plus is that you can go back and see what progress is being made
on your bugs. You can also receive Email notices when Deron updates the
bug report from his end.

There's no provision on the form for requesting new features. This is
the place for that.

Regarding the bug tracking system, you /can/ request new features.
They're called "enhancements."
