I'm using the latest windows version of PagestreamPro. When I save as pdf all I get is a blank page. Any ideas how to get it to work? It was working fine just a few days ago, but then suddenly stopped working. I don't think I did anything to the computer, but I get automatic updates on the computer which sometimes I'm not aware of (company computer). This has happened before and somehow fixed itself, but I need this feature because when I print to "Adobe PDF" the file generated is huge.

Thanks.

I am repeating an answer (from a month ago) to get you a 'brandnew' PGS:

Maybe you should make a copy of Pagestream5.ini before that, so you

Let me (us) know if this works for you.

Good luck!

I appreciate your suggestion, but it didn't work. I'm still getting blank pages when I save to pdf.

Thanks.

Mmm, in the dark at the moment...

Has the document text and pictures?
Try a document with text only. Try a document with only pictures,
preferably a bitmap (an illustration could contain text). Try also a new
(!) document and draw a square with the box tool from the toolbox.
Try those. From which one(s) you could make a complete pdf?

There won't be an easy answer for this one. If you can send the
PageStream document and the blank PDF it generates, I'll take a look and
see. As suggested by another, have you tried other documents? Even a
simple document? (Draw a line, export it).

This is really weird. I made a simple document (square and circle) and saved to pdf. It worked. So immediately, I try the exact same drawing that wouldn't save to pdf yesterday and it saves to pdf just fine today!

Perhaps something got reset to the correct values with the "simple" save?

Thanks.

I'm glad for you that something (!) worked.
Probably it was Windows that didn't load (another Wink ) something, so
PGS couldn't load the specific other something.
I have Windows / PGS related problems also, where I or Deron couldn't
lay a hand on. It comes and goes. It's specifically PGS 5.0.5.8, because
5.0.5.7 does work in the same situation...
I never had the PDF-problem, but I keep a look out for it!

Not PGS, but Windows: I had a couple of days that Irfanview loaded
bitmaps so slooow. And now it's gone...
I am working with McAfee virus protection for years now, but in a couple
of days I have another virus scanner. Maybe?
