I was trying to work out why the keyboard shortcut for Previous Page (Alt+1), Next (Alt+2) and the pop-up Go-To Page option (Alt+3) did not work, and I realised this is because the key assignment in the Help pages is incorrect, as it should read Control+Alt+ 1/2/3 for whichever option you require as the single key modifier of Alt/Option just does nothing, whereas the dual key modifier works as it should. Wink

Without the correction in the help files both included with the program and also from within the official PageStream documentation being corrected virtually no-one will ever know how to use these keys correctly and gain the benefit from their keyboard assignments. So I trust this correction can be added to the documentation for everyone to benefit from. Very Happy

If I come across any other anomalies of any keyboard assignments then I will of course say so in the forum pages. Smile

I forgot to mention that the Toolbox Keyboard shortcuts for Next tool: Option+Tab and Previous tool: Shift+Option+Tab are also non-functional, and the additional key modifier of Control still does nothing to make them work even if used in conjunction with the previously mentioned official PageStream Toolbox keyboard shortcuts.

Though using F1 (Object Tool), F2 (Text Tool) F3 (Magnify Tool), and F4 (Eyedropper Tool) do still function correctly, at least with the MorphOS v5.1.2 release. As long as the iMac Preferences brightness keyboard shortcut (F1 - dimmer / F2 - brighter) is not already activated, though that functionality can of course be deactivated in Preferences. Very Happy

The key assignment for swapping to Previous Page or Next Page or to open the Pop-up Go-to options does not seem to be part of the PageStream5.rsc text that controls some of the key assignments for PageStream and I just wondered where this option is held in the codebase of PageStream, and can it be, or is intended to be edited by a user? If so, I would appreciate some information as to what rules &/or steps of caution should be exercised if considering this modification.

[UPDATE - CORRECTION] - I have since realised that to use the Previous or Next Page or even the Pop-Up Go-To Page options you ONLY need to press <CONTROL> and the number (1 or 2 or 3, respectively) for the function to work correctly (The Alt/Option keypress is basically ignored/overlooked by the keyboard shortcut which is unusual but it is not a factor in making the keyboard shortcut(s) function!)
