Hi Deron,

I have a question regarding chapters. Will we ever be able to
properly move pages between chapters, or say from the main page
section into a chapter? I'd assume this would be something that
needed to be done in an updated "Move Page" function in the "Layout"
menu, as I'm sure it wouldn't quite work via the Page Palette.

An example: I recently needed to create a new document by appending
several other documents into one. Appending, as you know, only adds
the appended pages onto the end of the current document. However, I
need to place each of these appended documents into their own
chapter, but I still can't do it with PageStream. As you might
imagine, it's a real hassle to get these pages into the sections I
need them to be (it's almost easier to redo them from scratch).

This has been the main concern I've had with PgS for many years, as
my use for this functionality comes up on a regular basis. I used to
be one of your beta testers back in the days Mike was around, and
this was a continuing concern brought up my myself and several
others. We were repeatedly told that this was on "the buglist" of
items to be addressed in the "relatively near" future, but still
hasn't shown up. I've asked about this a few other times over the
past 3 years, and was again told that it would be addressed in the
future.

In any event, I'd appreciate it if you could please let me know if
any implementation of this function is forthcoming, or is even still
in the planning stages.

Sorry if this letter comes across sounding like I'm ticked off (I'm
definitely not). I just want to see PgS become an even better program
than it already is!

Best wishes,

Jeff Krispow
