I solved the problem on my computer this way.
When I extracted the lha archive to the PGS3 Folder, and started the
Installer from there it works

Ok. I extracted mine to RAM: and tried to install from there, as I do
with all my installs. The installer script asks for a destination
directory, so it should not matter where you extract your archive to.
