G'day All,

I remember some time ago a discussion on how to extract a postscript
definition for a new printer so you can print directly from pagestream on an
Amiga. Not sure if it is old age or what but I can't remember how to do it.
Also can you extract the PCL as well?

Regards

Hello Alan,

don't know what you excately mean by extract a ppd but I use such all the time and what you would need to do is to search de net for the ppd for your specific printer, e. g. I use a HP Color LaserJet CP6015, so I searched for the corresponding ppd and copied it to Progdir/Softlogik/Printers/PPD/. Then in PageStream you chose Postscript and load the correspondig ppd and send it to a device, like par:

Don't think that such can work for PCL, I rather think that for that you need a specific driver, like the ones in TP.

Regards

Christoph
