Well, I found one:http://www.pagestream.org/?action=Documents&id=120

You'll have to sign in to leave a comment.
Ah, I can delete it or edit it, also. Didn't know that.

So… did you delete it? Because there are no comments on that page. Note: if you leave a comment and it hasn't been approved for whatever reason (Deron may have forgotten to) then you can see, but no one else can.

The old site had useful links on the front page, such as to the most recent comments. The new site seems to have done away with that. There is the 'recent changes' item in the site menu, but it isn't sorted chronologically and so gives no indication of recency.

The new site also has broken links. Specifically, the static documentation which is downloadable are presently reported as broken links.http://www.pagestream.org/?action=Documents&id=1

There are numerous comments on the pagehttp://www.pagestream.org/?action=Documents&id=628

No, I did not delete it. I just edit it, and now we have to wait for
Deron to wake up, and approve it. Wink
Just some characters became question marks, because this site has UTF-8.

And no, there is still a recent page:
http://www.pagestream.org/?action=Documents&id=1&q=-&sort=age , and look
who is on top! The second to last comment is more than a year ago.

Broken link: I'll send you privately.

And yes, I did a deep search for my name, but all Google came up was:
bug tracker hits.
When I did it with your name, there were at least some documents hits,
and lots and lots of bug tracker hits.

And that is not sorted by age. Look at the dates and you will see.

Google must care more about the bug tracker Smile

Incidentally, because of Google's strong anti-privacy stance I've recently quit using their search engine. duckduckgo.com's results look the same as you report, though.

Thanks for DuckDuckGo, it replaced Googles'searching machine now.

And I don't see this: 'not sorted by age.'
Just a sample (I made the date bold):

I went to the page linked below and noticed that the "previous" page was about copying and pasting text, so I went there and entered the following user comment:

----------
When text is pasted, the properties of named paragraph or character styles in subsequent text may be lost, although the style name will be retained. If Select Text on Paste is not enabled, undo the paste, enable that option, and paste again. After pasting, reapply to the pasted (selected) text the style shown in the styles palette (do not change anything, just click on the style name) and the style properties of subsequent text will (usually) be restored.
-----------

Apparently I can edit this before approval, so if you think this is not right please let me know (and preferably suggest specific changes).

Martin,

Uhm, what link (there are two)? If it is 'Spell Checking', I think it is
the wrong place.
I would suggest:http://www.pagestream.org/?action=Documents&id=73 (Copy
and pasting)

BTW, you can see this while you are logged in! You can edit it while you
are logged in. Nobody else could see it, before Deron's approval!
If you sign out, and look at the page, you see that there is no user
contribution (at the moment).

Not to worry. At the top and bottom of the Spell Checking page there are links to the previous page (on the left) and the next page (on the right) The previous page is on copying and pasting and I followed the link to that page. So my comment on copying and pasting is on the page that discusses copying and pasting. Or will be when approved. If approved.
