Hope you don't mind. I am putting this back on the list so people will know I have not been abandoned and am open to anyone else jumping in. The more heads working on this the better.
We can go back to private again if you wish.

OK since I sent that to you I have been doing some more "experimenting". I installed my Pagestream Pro Linux version into a vmware Ubuntu "machine".
Doesn't matter whether I used a collected for output document or the direct PGS document I still had to set the font path. The document opened OK (apart from a minor but irritating "un-nudging" of a picture and caption which changed the text flow) .. the output ... well when viewing the postscript file all I got was the first A3 page with only the graphics and no copy .. and that's it .. a one page document. So the Linux version was no help.
To answer your question though ... the document should show 4 pages upon the initial opening. If you have the "Document Palette" opened you should see the document name plus a default master page and a cover master page followed by a chapter heading "Main Body" which when double-clicked will show the rest of the document. (24 pages)
Appreciate your help .. keep the questions rolling ... the answer will hopefully come.
