I found a command line method to reduce PDF file size, but it gives me an error. This is from "terminal":
frank2@frank2 ~/DTP Projects/AMC Files/AMC 23 Summer 12 $ gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dCompatibilityLevel=1.4 -dPDFSETTINGS=/ebook -dNOPAUSE -dQUIET -dBATCH -sOutputFile=AMC_23x.pdf AMC_23.pdf Error: /undefinedfilename in (AMC_23.pdf) Operand stack:

So it seems I have an "undefined file name" in the PDF that PgS created. All graphics are embedded. Any ideas? Using a Ghostscript "print to file" program on my Windows machine produces a 5-6 MB PDF file. This similar file made in PgS comes out to 16MB! None of my graphics are large, all are 120 dpi or less. Any ideas??
