I've been using 5.0.5.9 since it came out & had virtually no problems at all apart from occasional printing issues which have happened since PGS 4.x.x. It's probably because I've avoided going to OSX 10.7 & 10.8. They seem to offer no real improvement over Snow Leopard & I can't use the plethora of AppleWorks documents I've had for nearly 20 years. I've tried Pages but it refuses to load them.

just as a note: I'm on 10.8.3 so it isn't the version of OS X that makes a difference. It possibly plays a role, but so far there has been nothing to indicate why it works for some and not others.

For what its worth there's another commercial OS X application I use that works for me no problem (well, there are some bugs and they can be annoying, but it works) but other people have significant problems. In that case as well there's no common factor to determine why it does or does not work.

I certainly understand the frustration of those who have issues. The other application is more expensive than PgS which contributes to folks being even more upset. But its a fact that without ability to reproduce it is quite difficult to fix a problem.
