I've just reinstalled a fresh Pagestream v5.0.5.8a OS3 68K on my
AmigaONE X1000 and install went fine, the register process too and it
launch well.

BTW, screen refreshes after loading a document are needing a F10 push
to be not scrambled...

BTW 2, as there is no fonts in the install archive, I've installed the
pagestream fonts in the softlogik/fonts directory and as soon as I add a
ttf font drawer to the font prefs pagestream instantly freezes the
entire system... arg!

so I've installed the v5.0.3.3 pro ppc version too (in it's own drawer)
and this one freezes instantly just after opening the vertical toolbox
-hem, in fact only the top bar with gadgets of the vertical toolbox- no
reg requester at all, x1000 freezed also needing a cold reboot...

HELP !

I suggest to use the 4.1.5.6. version. That is the latest
stable Amiga version which runs quite well on OS4.

AFAIK there is no 5.x release which is in productive state.

I'm a little surprised about the problem with 5.0.5.8. Is it the same
as the PageStream5 Pro 26551768 ----rwed 22-Oct-10 05:42:44 that I
use? It can get nasty on occasion, sometimes crashing when I want to
Open Recent File, for example, and I do make frequent use of F10. But
4.1.5.6 quit working for me long ago -- apparently something went
wrong with assigns -- and worse, it refused to input the graphics
files I wanted to use. 5.0.5.8 (Pro) has done just about anything I
wanted it to.

I confess, I have not tried to do documents of more than two or three
pages with it so far...
