I copied some text Michael Irish (and I assume it is a Windows version), and you didn't do something stupid!
It has something to do with PageStream5.ini, the textfile that 'remembers' what you do and how you want PGS to behave. Sometimes it collects strange things (because of the acting PGS or Windows, or both).
So try a fresh start for PGS.
First you have to make some changes on Windows (7, 8, 10, whatever) though, before you look for 'PageStream5.ini', show hidden files: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files#show-hidden-files=windows-7 (because otherwise you will not find the 'PageStream5.ini').
Then goto the c-disk and do a search for: PageStream5.ini Maybe it is found at the same place as you can read here: http://www.pagestream.org/?action=Documents&id=82 (read the comment too ). On Windows 7 it is: C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\PageStream5 where is User (not Users!) your access name for Windows.
Then rename the PageStream5.ini in to something like PageStream5old.ini (or simply delete it).
Now start PGS, and PGS 'thinks' it is fired for the first time. Meaning you have to insert your personal PGS related things (username, product key, whatever, you can also find in the, now, Pagestream5old.ini: under USERREGNUM, USERPASSWORD and/or PRODUCTKEY), things you can find at http://www.pagestream.org/?action=Profile (after you sign in!).
I hope this helps,
Theo - let us, me, know
