As a follow-up to my previous message regarding your lack of success in
printing to Windows printers, I am now back at home and have checked out
my PageStream preferences. It is absolutely ages since I had had cause
to look at the preferences, and I was surprised at how simple the
printer preferences were (i.e. there is little scope to get messed up,
so I can understand your frustration!)

Anyway, I went to the relevant menu option ('File/ Print Setup . . .')
and tried to recall what that setting was that made things suddenly work
all those years ago. It is too long ago to be certain now, but I
suspect it must have been to do with the 'Faster Output (Beta)' option:
it seems that this should be turned OFF (i.e. the box must be
unchecked/unticked). That's how I have it set, and the Windows printer
works fine for me. Looking at the limited choices, it MUST have been
this setting that was the key to it all. (I'm assuming that you have
the X and Y offsets set to zero, and that you have tried setting the
printer to 'Windows' and have then chosen your windows printer under
'Windows Setup'.)
