One trick for this group is not to reply. Just send a new email. Otherwise all the previous stuff gets repeated and makes everything more difficult to see.
File, Print Setup..., The choices in the Printer drop down are <Bitmap File>, <Postscript File>, Windows. Windows is chosen. The Printer shows as "HP Photosmart 8400 Series (Bitmap)". Windows Setup takes me to what it sounds like. The Offsets are both 0. Faster Output (Beta) is not ticked. There is not anything else. The only odd thing, looking at it now, is the Printer showing as above. Why does it say (Bitmap) ? The printer is actually an 8450. Should I, perhaps, choose <Bitmap File> in the Printer drop down ?
I am not aware that I have any control over how the Printer shows. In Devices and Printers, the default printer is an "HP Photosmart 8400 Series". All other programs print perfectly as expected.
