Hi Dick,
I'm no expert on these matters, but I notice that your PageStream files have ended up, presumably through the unzipping process, in a 'Temp' folder (directory). i.e. C:\Users\Dick\AppData\Local\Temp\ . . . That's definitely not where you should have them and may well be the cause of your troubles. Create a folder that is actually named PageStream, probably in the 'Dick' directory -- i.e. C:\Users\Dick\PageStream -- and move all the unzipped PageStream files into that. You can then create a desktop icon for PageStream.exe, so you can launch it easily from the desktop. PageStream does also create a file in another directory in Windows, which contains information about certain things such as where the program opens on the screen, and things can go awry if that information is not correct, but I'm hazy on the location and contents of this one and I'll have to leave it to the experts to advise you on that one. (Actually, I'm about to find out the hard way, as I have just had to replace my laptop with a new Windows 10 one, and I'm going to attempt to install PageStream on it in the next few days. To guide me on that 'mystery file', I will be looking back through some of the more recent PageStream support emails, as I recall that some of the experts have advised other users on issues relating to it.)
Good luck,
