I started up PageStream this morning, and it's only half there. The loading box is there, but up in the corner, and the bottom taskbar is there, but no actual screen. If I click on anything - New, Load, even the top bar for moving it around, it simply disappears. The icon on the main taskbar is still there, and if I put the cursor on it, it says it's running, but clicking on it does nothing, and all I can do is turn it off again.

I redownloaded and reinstalled it, with the same results. Any ideas?

I don't fully follow what you are saying, but I suspect the problem is
the age old one of a corrupted pref file. Either delete the entire
PageStream5.ini file and reset your prefs and registration
(C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\PageStream5\PageStream5.ini), or
edit it with a text editor and remove the line that start with
SETWINDOWDEFAULTS (and might as well delete the line that starts with
SETAPPFRAMESTATE also).

It might be the placement of your windows - they sometimes decide to
show up way outside the monitor area and thus becomes invisible.

At C:\Users\YouUserName\AppData\Roaming\PageStream5 you should be able
to locate PageStream5.ini which is a text file containing your settings.

(If you are on anything but a Windows machine I don't know where to
locate those files.)

In that file you should have

Sometimes those SHOW AT values becomes negative (and huge negative
numbers) moving the window out of sight.

Take a look and see if anything is off.

Alternatively rename the PageStream5.ini file to - say -
PageStream5-KEEP.ini file and start PageStream - it should make a new
file and reset all values.
