Hi Deron and Theo.
Thanks for the replies. The ones I know I'm missing so far are Bible Script and FlareSerif. I installed them back into C:\Windows\Fonts from a backup folder of fonts I keep, so I can have the same fonts on my Amiga and all of our Windoze computers.

I partition my Windows computers much like my Amiga. C:\ is for system files only, to the extent I am able to keep it that way. I reformatted that before reinstalling Win 10. So there shouldn't have been any registry/user info left from previous program installs. D:\ is where I install all my programs. I know... I know I still have to reinstall all my programs if the windows registry is lost. But in this case, I deleted my PgS folder, created a new one named Pagestream, and started from scratch with the zip file. I have a backup of the Pagestream .ini file, but that's on my data partition E:\, so it shouldn't get accessed at boot up.

BTW, the two "missing" fonts DO show up in MS Word and are usable.

Given all of the above, I'm at a loss where Pagestream got all the correct folder paths from or for that matter how it's even running. Palatino is a close replacement for Flareserif, but I haven't found one to substitute for Bible Script yet.

I hope that makes my situation a little more clear.

Ok, you may need to go to Font Setup in PageStream's System Prefs
submenu and update your font paths. I can't remember if that is cached
or not (been awhile), but just click on the Update and then Save.

Hi Paul, still strange that PGS just worked.
The other problem, fonts do not show up in PGS, there is a solution.
Goto File/System Preferences/Fonts... and than Add..., and add the C:\Windows\Fonts or when you already have this, try the Update.
Do NOT include System Fonts!
This should do the trick.

Greetings,

Theo - don't know why I have a C:\Windows\Fonts\Arvo-Regular.ttf

Too bad, I saw that and thought maybe I could add individual fonts. But the file chooser won't let me choose anything but a directory for the font source.

I HAD failed to hit the save button at the bottom before. But even after highlighting C:\Windows\Fonts and hitting  update and save, I'm still at the same point with missing fonts. Weird.

Is this folder classed as a Sysem Font Directory? If so, you might need to tick the "include system fonts" on the font prefs.

Also, I saw in another post tha you have pgs.ini on your E: drive. Just check that your prefs are in the right place on your D: drive.

Bye for now,
