 As of the upcoming version of macOS (Catalina, 10.15), no 32-bit apps will run.

May I presume that Pagestream Mac will never be rewritten as 64-bit?

If you want to continue to use PageStream for the Mac this year, I would
_NOT_ upgrade to OSX 10.15/Catalina.

As to the future of the OSX version of PageStream, I will know more in
the coming weeks. This much I know right now. The first OS X version was
sponsored in part by a single PageStream users, and that is probably
going to happen again. I would expect that it will be treated as a new
platform requiring an upgrade/sidegrade fee as if you were switching
from Mac to Windows.

I would be willing to continue to support Pagestream for Mac.
