Hi, just my first impressions with the third update to AOS4.1.

On Sam440, before, I could run PGS 5 pro PPC, but it didn't close the screen after quitting. Now it does. Well.

On my A+ XE G4, it worked well, but after the update it stopped.
I found out, it has some problems with the toolbox. I went to the prefs and deleted the references to the position of the toolbox and it works again, but the dragbar of the window of toolbox is so small, I can't move it to a position where I whould like. Else it works well (I have the sentiment it takes much longer then before to save big documents)

Bear in mind that MUI has been heavily modified for OS4.1 Update 3. Since
PGS depends on MUI, that could be the reason for any change in behaviour.
It's more likely than any of the bug fixes in the OS.

cheers

Whatever it is that caused it, it is AMAZING how well
behaved 5058a is now with update 3. Other than some func-
tions being a little slow, this operates like a normal,
solid program now. (it didn't ---for me anyway--- until
now.)

Is it realistic now, Deron, to look into further work on the
Amiga version?

Yes, actually. I'm working with a couple folks now to try and round out
some of the bugs and such in PageStream Amiga versions!

Which one is 5058a? I had to write a meeting announcement, using 5.0.5.8 Pro
(26551768 bytes) as I always have since OS4.1 update 2, and it works about
the same. It does the job, but opening a file always gets a DSI, and how
long it takes for the font-change thing to open varies much from launch to
launch of the same file. I sometimes give up waiting, reboot, relaunch,
reload, and this time it will come up almost immediately.

The trick then is to just click "OK" without trying change any fonts.

Bart,

26,551,768, same as yours, dated Oct 22, 2010. I think there
was some quick fix of something released right after the
main release, but I really don't remember clearly.
