hi deron - or whomever knows...

well, we haven't seen much activity in the last couple of years regarding
pagestream development.
is it still ongoing? if yes - can you mabye tell us a little bit about the
current status? when (if at all) can we expect some updated versions?
what is going on behind the scenes?
or is it more r.i.p. now? sould be really sad to hear this.

i really would like to hear smth positive about all this Sad
one of the last things i remember is that a mui developer was found to help
developing the amiga flavours... but this is some years ago (afaik).

many thanks and regards...
michael

I like to know too. it would be really, really sad if it was dead.
What is the latest Amiga version btw? I have 4.1.5.6 for 68k and 5.0.3.3 for PPC and both are not pro version.

I'm still waiting for stable OS4 version.. Sad

I've been using 5.0.5.8, but it is Pro.

It doesn't do everything it's supposed to; e.g., I haven't been able to make
the scripts work, and everytime I want to use any colors in a new document
I have to set them up again from scratch.

I haven't tried doing much multipage stuff, although I plan a pamphlet one
of these days, but I do a lot of one-page stuff -- monthly meeting
announcements I send to members of a group, pages for my on-line hike photo
albums, etc., quite satisfactorily.

But like you and Michael, I would love to see a fully working version. And
one that loads a bit quicker. Mine takes 20 seconds to appear on screen
after double-clicking the icon.

I'm in the same boat as Bart, and also sincerely wish that Deron would not
only keep PgS going in general, but get a fully stable PPC version out. I
generally end up locking up after about 20-30 minutes of use with the
5.0.5.8 Pro version.
