I had to reupload the files (I have a new script, and it didn't compress
the files with bzip afterwards) but I finally got it straightened
out Hopefully other releases won't be so painful, but who am I kidding Wink

Let me know how it goes for you.

Hmmm... The old links are still there and still broken. I tried manually
typing it in for the different version number and that didn't work either.

Either that was quick or Mozilla didn't really reload the page... the new link
is still broken, though.

Since it appears ok from here and you have since posted a couple bugs to
bugzilla, can I assume that everything is ok? (aside from the bugs reported Smile

Hmm... can't decompress it. The first few bytes of the file are:

PageStream5.rsc

As that doesn't look compressed to me I tried extracting w/o specifying bzip,
but still no go.

> Hmm. It was a naming problem. Fixed (wrong case)
I downaloaded it finally!
Improvements:
1) TextFX - better shows shapes *but kerning is to big* (characters to
narrow)
2) pictograms in top toolbar isnt verticaly moved, as early
Bugs:
3) Borders scrolled with mouse wheel not goes properly (notch and jump
over). Some borders are computed to long when size of border box is small
4) Treated of fill and line in Tables are inversed (turning on lines
causes black filling of all table. Cells are not movable/resizable.
5) I CANNOT PRINT IN POLISH. ONLY "Ł" (LSLASH) AND "Ó" (OACUTE) ARE
PRINTABLE. I CANNOT ANYTHING SET. In PostScript file, when I inspect it,
none of characters shows in place of others diacritical character,
except for above. On screen all is right.
6) Ligatures are not usable.
7) Saving in PDF not transfer all attributes (i.e. gradient fill of
polygons). I save with default setting of save PDF requester. But
documents saved with turned off compression are different as with turned
on (In acrobatreader on Linux).

Generally, all goes better, more errorless. Deron, can you start
imprevements from diacritical characters? It shows, that problem is with
characters outside Adobe-standard coding page. But this concern truetype
fonts too.

Hi,

Can you tell me which version you are reporting for? Thanks!

I'll see if I can get the extended character issues fixed for the next
release!!

I have the download, but the "archive" looks like it is the files just cat'ed
together. Nothing I can do with it.

Did you download v4 or v5? I'm curious because I could not get v5 to extract.

If you bought v5 you should be able to download it -- they may need a reminder
to update it. OTOH v5 Linux doesn't appear to be a proper archive so I can't
actually do anything with it.

Normally I use Ark to extract. For whatever reason today I was working from
the shell. PgS4.1.6.30 extracts fine using tar, but PgS5.0.1.30 does not. I
forget the exact error, something about the archive being corrupt or invalid.
Because I can use vi to read plain text from the "archive" I surmise that it
is not actually compressed, but heck, what do I know.

Spurred by your comment I tried to extract it again, this time with Ark, and
it worked. If I hadn't successfully used the same commandline to extract
4.1.6.30 I would be less confused.

Confused or not, I did manage to extract it.

and midnight commander is what you have to decompress it with.
IT takes too long with ark on suse.
Mine installed and runs well so far.
Putting through what meager paces i can... Razz
