Yeah, I downloaded the fonts from this web page:
http://root.cern.ch/root/TrueType.html
Here's what I did to install them: I put the fonts into the
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF directory, ran the mkfontscale and
mkfontdir in that directory and added it to both /etc/X11/xorg.conf and
/etc/fonts/local.conf and ran the fc-cache program. Then I restarted
gnome and the fonts were available in Mozilla as well as OpenOffice
(haven't tried other programs). In PageStream, the symptoms I described
in my previous message appeared.

I hope you can reproduce the problem from this description. If you need
more info, I'll gladly try to provide it.
