I dislike posting an off topic question, but this is my best/only resource and
I'm getting desperate...

I originally wrote a long email fully describing the situation, but to keep
this short as it is OT I am in a situation where I need a distro other than
SuSE and am looking for one that works well with KDE and has a configuration
tool on par with YaST. I know, I'm describing SuSE Sad

Off-list replies welcome.

Any debian based will work, as it uses dpkg/apt-get/aptitude
