Hi.

I was triyng to print on my Linux system, but the only method to print
is exporting my file to pdf and then printing the pdf directly.
The printing setup is correctly, pointing the ppd archive to my
turbolinux ppd drivers. When i try to print the pgs file a progress bar
window appears but it hangs when is arriving to the windows end.
I try to print the file as a PostScript file but the problems remains
the same.
I was waiting for half an hour but nothing comes out of the printer.
Some help please?!!.

Thank you.

Hi,

1) I experience the same problem.

2) In fact, when I try to export as postscript, I get Segmentation fault and
can no longer even start up PGS5.

I had to delete the .Pagestream5 pres file and re-enter my license info.

3) The problem I have with PDF is that it is not scaling exactly at 100%.

This is Beta but "proper" printing is imperative for a DTP to work.

My config:
OS: SuSE Linux Pro 9.1
Printer: HP-Office Jet 7130
App: PageStreamPro 5.0

Is the same problem that mine, if you dont want to delete and reenter
all your password and user, delete the last lines in your Pagestream
Preferences archives, all the lines refering to printing.
The problem i have with pdf is that it not export the tipography, and
changes my fonts for another different.
Well, i hope that the next version solve all this problems....
Thank you.

Hopefully the new version that I am trying to upload now will address this
for you.

I have no problems with this. Are you sure you are not selecting "scale to
fit" or some other option in the PDF program?
