Hello,

Since downloading PGS5Pro I have been unable to run it. When started
with the startscript it briefly shows a few windows and then exits.
To troubleshoot I started it rom a shell (it's unpacked
in /usr/Arkiv/Nya/PageStream5) with the following result:
[jan@oden jan]$ cd /usr/Arkiv/Nya/PageStream5
[jan@oden PageStream5]$ export PGSPATH=/usr/Arkiv/Nya/PageStream5
[jan@oden PageStream5]$ echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH

[jan@oden PageStream5]$ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$PGSPATH/SoftLogik/lib
[jan@oden PageStream5]$ echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
/usr/Arkiv/Nya/PageStream5/SoftLogik/lib
[jan@oden PageStream5]$ export PATH=$PATH:$PGSPATH
[jan@oden PageStream5]$ echo $PATH
/usr/local/kde-3.3.1/bin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/qt/bin:/usr/kde/bin:/usr/java/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/games:/home/jan/bin:/usr/Arkiv/Nya/PageStream5
[jan@oden PageStream5]$ ./PageStream5Pro
./PageStream5Pro: error while loading shared
libraries: /usr/Arkiv/Nya/PageStream5/SoftLogik/lib/libSoftLogikDisp.so.1:
undefined symbol: cmsCreateGrayProfile
[jan@oden PageStream5]$

PGS4 is working ok. Do I need any new libs or updates to make PGS5
work?

Regards
Jan

Look like you need to get a newer version of lcms. cmsCreateGrayProfile is
a function in that library. Of the top of my head, and I think you need
1.10? (could be wrong).

Well I had 1.10 and that wasn't enough, but 1.14 did the trick.
Thanks for your promt answer.

Btw, some months ago I filed a bug about window placement together
with KDE. I don't know if it's because I have upgraded Kde or PGS,
but now all my windows stay put. Nice work!

In my brief flirt with SuSE 9.2 (which has KDE 3.3.1 IIRC) the problem got
much better for me, though it didn't totally disappear I discovered. So I
suspect it's a change in KDE.
