Hi,

I am trying to open the U.S. Federal Tax Form in Pagestream 5 Pro and the text
blocks are all white. Their is some kind of separation specified in the
doc??? How do I make it appear in black and white?

I am not really a professional typesetter/graphics person and use Pagestream
for the convenience of graphics text handling, but do not fully understand
'knockouts, etc.'

You got better results than I did. I just tried it with PgS Linux Pro 5.0.1.36
and it just put some grey rectangles on the page.

The problem turned out to be that the PDF file was saved using a
"Separation" color space (normally you create what the PDF calls
"DeviceGray" "DeviceRGB" or "DeviceCMYK". Their are several other ways to
define colors, but that is the basic). In this case, white was black and
black was white. Fixed in the next release.
