PgS has lost its idea of my default document path and I'm curious if this has
happened to anyone else. It is still set in prefs, but if I try to open a
file or save a new one it now always goes to my home directory.

PgS (at least used to) track the last directory used so if I open a file the
next time I open a file it will default to that last used directory. This is
not what is going on: I always keep my documents in ~/Documents/ and my
current PgS documents are always in ~/Documents/PageStream. Text files for
import or that are exported are in ~/Documents/Text. Now it is going to ~/

What was I doing just before this happened? Digging around for an old file. It
so happens it was last used on the Amiga and it is stored in
~/Documents/PageStream-Amiga. The file referenced two external graphics which
are, of course, not where they were so I was prompted for the new location,
which I did. My convention there is all graphics are stored in /pictures/
(don't ask why they're not also in ~/Documents or at least ~/, it's a long,
boring answer ;^)

Admittedly it has been a while since I loaded an old document that required
finding its external graphics, but the last time I did so I don't believe it
caused the loss of the default path.

Anyone else seen this?

(Incidently, thanks to PgS I was able to pull up and reprint a years old
document from a different platform with nothing more than a single font
substitution requester and a single locate graphic requester.)
