The bottom border of a text frame does not appear to be honored. E.g., if the
bottom border is set for 1/4 inch text floats within that distance instead of
being flowed out of the text frame.

I may not have tested your exact situation, but I took an existing column,
split it into two columns, and added a .25 inch bottom border. Text was run
over into the next column. Text had already flowed into the second column
prior to changing the border.
Suse 64 version 10.0.

That is a little different situation from what I've been seeing. I should be
more specific (and accurate): single column text frame, no text flow into
another frame. If the last line of text fits the frame, regardless of the
specified border, the text is displayed. It shouldn't display and the text
overset should be shown.

Ok, I was able to reproduce a problem with a bottom text frame margin.
Initially it seemed to work, but some column heights would exhibit the
problem. It appears that the line is permited if the top fits within the
boundry.

Thanks, I'll pass it along.

This has been fixed for the next release (I don't even have a version
number for it yet, but will be in the coming Amiga and OSX 5.0.3.4
releases).

osx release!?!?!? Oh happy day! (I know, I'm rejoicing a bit early, but
right now I'm travelling and only have my macbook so no PgS and I'm
missing it)
