With Linux Pro PgS 5.0.3.4:

- print to a PS file, using Adobe Distller PPDs (or any of the other
PPDs I've tried)
- Run the PS file through Adobe Distiller (Acrobat 5.0)
- In the .pdf output, margins are totally off. Left margin is not
there, and a few characters on the left are cut off, too. Top and
bottom margins off. Setting the "Margin" gadget in PgS's Print Setup
requester makes no difference.
- However, PgS's "export to pdf" function creates a fine pdf;
using "ps2pdf" works fine, too. PostScript files created via
OpenOffice (Linux) or Word (PC) are processed fine by Distiller.

Any ideas? (A printer I'm working with demands pdfs produced only by
Distiller -- I guess that Civilization As We Know It ends if he's
given a pdf produced by another program...

Could you send a sample pdf to me to see what you mean? Or a screenshot?
(to dan@pagestream.org) I'm not sure I understand what is happening.
Does Distiller output any error? Without knowing what is wrong with the
PS output, or what Distiller is confused about, I can't get it fixed.

Anyone else?

Dan
