The separation of a chroot environment is starting to get on my nerves so I decided to see about installing all of the 32 bit libraries and that has been accomplished, but PageStream still fails to start up completely. The problem is that it is still trying to open the 64 bit versions of some libraries. In particular:
libgnomevfs Pango
There are 32 bit versions of these installed and they have been added to the library path. I found a reference to setting up Pango32 (it apparently needs more helphttp://www.debian-administration.org/articles/534) and have done that as well.
Possibly relevant, possibly not there are warnings about theme engines that don't occur in the chroot. The first few lines of console output following launch are:
> (PageStream5:18955): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library. > Using the fallback 'C' locale. > > (PageStream5:18955): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library > > (PageStream5:18955): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in > module_path: "qtengine", > > (PageStream5:18955): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in > module_path: "qtengine", > > (PageStream5:18955): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Cannot load module > `/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libfile.so' > (/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libfile.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64) > > (PageStream5:18955): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Cannot load module > `/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libfile.so' > (/usr/lib/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libfile.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64)
I can run other 32 bit applications outside of the chroot, just not PageStream. Any ideas?
