Greetings!
I think this problem with me is better discussed in the
PageStreamLinuxBeta ML. So I post this twice in order to easily change
the ML and keep the thread.
Yesterday I was lucky because many things seemed to work ok. I had a
visible toolbar and could work from that.
This morning I fired the new PGS5.0.4.39Pro up and ran into the same
known problem with the black bar across both screens.
Again I deleted the pagestream.prefs , started PGS and had to enter the
personal data and registration again. Up came the starting requester and
the toolbar. However, it stretches again over the two screen as we had
it before. Meanwhile I found out that PGS writes new .prefs file each
time it closes down.
Not touching the prefs editor I can close and open PGS allways with the
same result. As soon as I want to change the settings the resulting
.prefs file creates the black bar.
I don't know what the meaning of all the setting lines in the prefsfile
is. There is no explanation connected to each line. The old and the new
.prefs file have different length. 1.2 KB and 3.5 KB.

Up to now I couls not find which line in the second .prefs file is wrong!
