Just tested the latest release 5.0.4.44
still has the crash problem, I double checked the version i had used before, it was .34, so this has been around for a but.. have tried another font thinking that the font might be the problem, had some sucess but the saves graphics werent filly formed..

using opensuse 11.1 with KDE 4.2

looks like same error output as well

If you are having problems with a speciflc font, please identify the font.

In the mean time, you might try selecting all the objects on the page
and exporting to a bitmap and see if that works any better.
