It really hasn't been hard. If I had thousands of people responding, maybe. I just have a little sheet of paper (my wife knows how infrequently I use paper so she is getting a kick out of it) that I tick off or add another line if need be.
Just picked up a cheap little Intel Atom based 1.6gz desktop, refurbished, with Vista. Cheaper than buying a Vista license no less... So I have repartitioned it into a couple Windows partitions and I'll be slicing up and putting some Linux distros on it just to give me some variety in testing. The biggest things for me is that I have a machine that is extra and doesn't use much electricity. It was getting to be a pain to work on the 64bit version of PageStream (well, not really a different version but simply updating the sources to clarify when something has to be 32 bit or 64 bit etc.) because the server was running 32bit mode. So I had to reboot the Linux server and loose the server etc. Plus I didn't have a 64bit Windows install.
Had to dig my KVM switch out of a storage box. Now I've got a great little setup going. Just need a mac mini (to move MOS to plus have a PPC mac) a couple more printers and I'll be set
Thanks everyone for their "vote"!
