trying to adjust transparency of an image on pagestream, i would think the line and fill options would control this, but this doesnt seem to be the case. I was certain this could be done in PGS, Is such an option available?

That simply sets the stroke/fill of the frame. It is a little more
complicated, but if you want to set the transparency of a photo in
PageStream, you need to do something like

Object->Mask->Generate Mask
Object->Mask->Option and then choose Opacity and the level.

ah i thought it was something convoluted and not straight forward like most other programs.
Is there a reason for this mask generation then xparency settings? something left over from days of lower memory and lower power cpu's?
