is this possible?? i've not been able to using the latest available PGS for linux.

Works ok here. Are you using the FX button in the Edit Palette to change
the border component colors, or (improperly) trying to use Object Line &
Fill?

This is also one of those times that you may need to start with a brand new
object to work on. An old one that used to work, but was done incorrectly,
may not work now.
