The following is a link showing an image of the Pagestream line and fill
requester as it appears on my system.
http://susepaste.org/99059440

Note the duplicate buttons along the top. (the top row of buttons), The first
4 buttons (from the left) seem to do nothing (except change color), the next
4 work as they should, except that the pressed (active) and inactive state
shading are not consistant w/ the actual state.

Once I am able to get to the desired function page (fill, line, etc) the
controls on the page seem to behave properly (except the coloring as noted
above)

I have noted this behaviour using both KDE (my prefered desktop) and Gnome,
openbox etc. Tried with other users as well.

Any ideas? Anyone else get this result?

OpenSUSE Linux 11.4 64 bit, 16GB RAM. Gnome 2.32
PageStream 5.0.5.8 Pro 32 bit
Purchased and upgraded long before the 64 bit version was available. Sad

The double row of buttons is also in my print requesters, the ones on the right being active, and those on the left inert.

Since it was not a problem, and I did not see anyone else mention it, I did not post about it.

I have been using Ubuntu - several versions, 32 bit

Yeah the issue has been mentioned to deron, previously, hopefully in the next linux update it will be fixed.
i too am using opensuse 11.4 64bit, will be upgrading to 12.1 soon. and will see if this offers a cure.
also must look up several other issues in pagestream for deron to work on for the update. i just havent had the time recently, now that winter has arrive here i'll be indoors a bit more..

In fact I reported this almost a year ago. (Mail attached) Deron answered that
it was fixed "in house" if I remember correctly.

Not on the list at least, but the list is not so active for me to be
active on!

And Jan is correct. Fixed in house, just not released.

Yay, anyone report a PDF print error, HP CP 2025, PDF looks fine but when
document prints, a random character say the letter "A" prints as "[]"
never know where it will happen....

----------snip----------
(my printer is a HP Photosmart 7660)
Just did a save as pdf of the pagestream test document, seems fine, but not
sure where the printer model comes into play in this scenario, unless you
are printing the pdf separately.

Might be a font substitution issue (?), since you are printing the pdf the
issue could be downstream from there, does it print properly directly from
Pagestream to printer?

I'll have to test from PGS to Printer, it didn't work awhile back so have
been only doing PDF's, thought maybe it was the CUPS drivers
Just tried, PGS just crashes when I try and print direct

Thought I would revive this thread since it's been about a year without much
action on the list. (and 2 years since first reported?)

I've been using PageStream more frequently lately and this requester issue
is starting to bug me a bit. It sounds like the issue was actually fixed
quite awhile ago,

Is there a possibility of a bugfix release in the near future?
Thanks
