Friends

I went to the Gemulator web site and downloaded the most recent files.
After reinstalling, I am able to use the full screen mode AND switch back
and forth between Windows and TOS with a simple Alt-Enter (double button
click to get back). AND there is no more than a two-three second delay! It
is terrific, and so far totally flawless. And no, I'm not selecting the
hibernate mode. I alt-enter to reduce the Pagestream window, double button
click to get the windows cursor, and work in Photoshop, etc. Then I
alt-enter and I'm right back in the exact place in Pagestream.

WONDERFUL!

My main problems right now are lack of a desktop and an inability to get the
cool, big screen resolutions. Boy would I love to do the 1600x1200 etc.! The
640x400 is really getting old.

I have MagiC 5, and it gives me a working desktop -- but the file selector
comes up blank! I could never get it to work properly on the Atari either, a
total waste of cash for me.

Okay, forget the desktop -- I don't need it. But I would pay a king's ransom
to get those big screen resolutions. Anyone know what I need to do? Neither
of the auto programs included with Gemulator seem to work. Like I said, I'm
using MagiC for the operating system. If I read correctly, I need TOS
instead -- is that right? And what is the best and easiest way to get a
decent version of TOS (i.e. 2.06) into my PC?

Oh yeah, I can't get the printer sharing to work either, and that would be
nice. Haven't tried to cut 'n paste yet.

Thanks all!

And especially to Henry Lazarus, who helped me get Pagestream running on my
PC. Henry for president!

As it is for me.

I don't know what you need, but I know that with 2.06 ROMs on my Gemulator card
in my PC I got the full range of resolutions and both programs to choose them
work.. I got the ROMs with my Gemulator. I assume there are other sources.
