1. Spelling resets itself everytime to American dictionary when one tries to use another language and press ignore when correcting a text.
2. When opening a doocument the workscreen goes all grey and by pressing restore and then maximize you will get it back to normal.
3. PageStream is still prone to crash.
4. The bottom bar where the scale button, the zoom buttons and the goto page button are doesn't refresh itself when scrolling up and down and leaves a trail.
5. The right-hand side scrollbar seems to flash intermittently occasionally.
6. The same problems seem to apply to HHV  which makes it difficult to read the help files. That is it starts up with a grey screen and the bottom scrollbar leaves a trace over the text when scrolling up and down and doesn't refresh. (I run in 1024 by 768, does that make a difference?)
7. The tips at the startup are still wrong.
8. When changing tools, the arrows don't update automatically. Only after first use or when right-clicking.
9. I would like to see that the view menu (under the windows menu) would get it's separate menu so it corresponds with the rest of Windows programs.
10. In the preferences, under the Files tab one cannot set file locations since the wrong dialogue box still comes up, it's the save one.
11. Under the Drawing tab, in preferences, when choosing "On Double Click: Beep" there's a small bug with the "Do:" list below.
12. It seems that the whole PageStream program has an refresh problem e.g. when choosing the Type tab in preferences and then choosing edit and then OK it doesn't reset well. This problem cannot always be repeated.
13. Help under the Window menu doesn't work.
14. The Swedish dictionary don't seem to be able to detect the ÅÄÖ (AA,AE,OE) letters when spell checking.
15. When saving and saving template the "Save as type" cannot be chosen.
16. PageStream chrashed when I tried to undo Delete page.
17. When I selected a text object and the chose Convert to path inthe Object it crashed???

That is because the text language is American. If you want to use a
different language as the default, either set it in type prefs, or
highlight and change using Type->Language submenu!

Already noted, and a temp fix posted where possible. The next version
already has these fixed. Thanks!

Could you explain? I've noted that some of the extended characters don't
show in the tips (open & close quotes, en and em dashes being the biggest).

Probably an active window problem.

Something I've pondered over many times. What do people think?
Unfortunately, multiple views, and hiding/revealing, don't fit into the
Windows "standard". Do we drop those features on Windows, ignore the
standard for the most part and do it like PageStream on the other
platforms, or somewhere inbetween (have a Window menu, but add a few
non-standard options).

Thanks, forgot about that one. You can still pick the path, we just don't
have a path selector so we used the save file selector.

I just played with this and it seems to work fine. What happens for you?
Can others reproduce a problem with the requester?

I tried editing the default Type approx 20 times and it always worked well.

Still waiting for external scripting. Until then, you need to choose Show
Help from the PageStream group in the Startup Menu.

There is no type to choose when saving. It only saves as PageStream format.

I'll look into it also. Can't say that I have tried them.

I'm finding I can actually go pretty far with this version! Couple glitches
here and there to look out for of course, but I am using it full time now!
