Hi Deron

Thanks for the latest beta. Here's some quick feedback:

Printing still doesn't work!
****************************
My testdocument contains a rectangle object filled with a gradient
from white to black and a textbox with "Hello World".

System 1: Athlon 600, 128MB Ram, Win98SE
Printer: Epson Stylus Color 600, Parallel Port
-> The Text is printed. The rectangle get somehow messed up:
The black and white gradient ist printed in a fuzzy red with "smears"
of other colors in it. (It's definitely not a printer problem).

Same computer as above, but other printer:
HP Laserjet 4L, Parallel Port
-> A blank page is printed.
(I assume the trouble with the gradient resulted in an invalid page
so the page wasn't printed at all...)

System 2: PentiumII 266, 128MB Ram, WinNT4 SP3
Printer: HP Laserjet 5 siMx, Ehternet
Pagestream crashes while preparing the print job.
(The printer dialog box shows a "no ppd selected - but I didnt figure
out how to select one cause the settings only gave me the box to chose
one of the installed printers.)

Bug(?) in Save Window Settings
******************************
When I close PageStream and open it again, the window positions are
moved slightly downward - maybe the system saves the position of the
top left corner *below* the title bar and the sets the top left corner
of the title bar to that point?

Also the document window always seems to be opened full screen...

Remember Document Settings
**************************
When I chose to create an "A4" document and click on "Remember", the
dialog box shows me a "Custom" size the next time I'm starting Page-
stream. But the size is rememberred correctly.

Interface Quirks
****************
- Resizing usually destroys the windows (document, palettes) contents.
- The mous pointer doesn't show it's state - like resize window arrow,
modify pointer, text cursor, etc.
- Windows does have the confirm button to the *left side* of the
cancel button!
While on Mac it's [Cancel] [OK], on Windows it's [OK] [Cancel].
Please change or your windows user will get very annoyed by
constantly clicking the wrong button!

Toolbar
********
Clicking on the Settings-icon (and others) in the toolbar gives me
a file dialog.

So, thanks for the good work and pleasew don't let uis wait another
4 Months for the next beta... Smile

Regards
Roland Knecht
