Dave,
Thanks for the advice, but I have tried this with no success ... I don't know that I had changed anything in the Bios anyhow, with the computer being a brand-spanker. If you have any other thoughts, I would be pleased to hear them. I did get my old computer out of the garage and set it up again to try loading PageStream on there ... it loaded to that machine with no difficulty ... that is a "dummie-ready" Compaq with a Cyrix processor on board, so I know the archive was downloaded uncorrupted from SoftLogik. With my limited knowledge, I am assuming the error message refers to something to do with getting a program screen up on the monitor correctly? I have a relatively cheap graphics card on this machine at the moment ... an S3 Trio 3D AGP card with 4mb of memory ... I have it running at 1024 x 728, 16.7 million colours, and 60hz refresh, to a Sony Multiscan 15sf monitor ... I have tried smaller resolutions ... I am wanting to get one of those Matrox Millenium cards with the "duel-head" monitor capability, but that is outside my finances just at present.
Cheers,
Wayne.
