I'm using Pagestream4r7 for windows with Windows 2000 Pro
When I access the font drop down menu it list
each version of Arial, Courier, & Times New Roman
25 times, this doesn't seem to affect operation, it's just a little
annoying
to have to scroll thru all the extra listings.
The other fonts (about 50 of them) only list once like they should.

Also most of my files are still in pagestream2 format.
When I try to open them, it says it can't find the pagestream2
fontlist
and gives a path where it says its looking.
I checked where it says it's looking and the pagestream2 fontlist is
there.
Is there a way to make it find it?
I can open these files by telling it to continue anyway,
and having it sustitute fonts to display.

One of my files used three different fonts.
I loaded it in, did an edit select all, and changed the fonts to all
the same,
then I saved it as a pagestream4 file.
When I open it it still asks about substituting two of the original
fonts,
If it's all changed in the document, why does it do this?
Is there still some kind of header information or something being
retained
from when it was a pagestream2 file?

Thanks for any help,
Leroy Dehoff

PS: I started with Pagestream2.2 on the AMIGA using a 1084S monitor
I got all the 3.0 updates, but it didn't display as well on the 1084S
and when I tried to update my files it usually locked things up
anyway.
I upgraded to 3.3a and updated a couple of my files, but it still
didn't
display well on the 1084S.
I got rid of my AMIGA and put the Pagestream3.3a on WinUAE.
Also bought pagestream for windows, hoping that soneday it
will work as well as pagestream2.2 did and that I'll be able to
update my files.
You keep getting closer, Thanks a lot.
I just tried downloading r8 before I started this letter,
the home page said it was already uploaded, but the download page said
if the link doesn't work yet its not, It didn't so I guess it's not.
Maybe some of the things I've addressed in this letter
have already been fixed. Thanks again.

It of course is not supposed to do that! It doesn't do it for me, but I
suppose anything is possible.

I've added code so that any duplicate listings are stripped out.

Well, I've fixed a similar bug that was in Illustrator export. It couldn't
find the header file. This will probably fix your problem also. Let me know
if r8 does the trick.

Actually yes.Your style tags are also scanned at load time for references
to unavailable fonts. While you may not be using the styles, you _could_
and that would be confusing so PageStream alerts you to this at load time.
