Hi Deron Thanks for coming out with WinPgs4.r8a so quickly. I was
using r7 to create and then saving and transferring to PGSAmi4 on the
UAE emulator to Print. Last week I tried r8 it was better till I tried
to save!! I could load a file done on the emulator and save it back but
if I modified it in any was it crashed on tying to save -- so back to
the slow but sure emulator. I've now got the r8a release up and running.
It seems much improved and able save OK. But still no joy trying to
print with either my HP Laserjet 4L (Blank Page) or a HP.930c Text ok
but 1/4 size. Graphics not printed and one box outline only half printed
on landscape. The boxes printed OK portrait but no BMP graphics.

F10 screen refresh not working
Outline font no outline the only way I can get Bold or Italic is to load
the proper font
Fonts on pull down menu do not scroll can only see top 34 fonts
Send to editor not working yet and neither is BME usable when loaded
separately.

To be able to prepare a page in WinPGs and then print on the UAE Amiga
emulator I converted the fonts that I wanted from the Amiga to True Type
and use them as True Type in both Programs. There was a problem in the
beginning even with the same Amiga based font on both programs the point
sizes were quite different i.e. 24 point on the Amiga when the file was
loaded into the windows program would need to be anything from 36 pt to
56 pt to be the same printed size. It take quite a bit of trial and
error to adjust the font scaling to fit.
