Much better, this program is starting to shape up.

Tried to transform text typed directly on the page. The box around the graphic
slants, twists, etc. But the text stays perpindicular to the bottom of the box.

Once text has been typed directly on the page, choosing the text tool and
trying to change attributes (bold, italic, and so on) produces no visible
results on the screen.

Had a fataal crash, trying to reproduce it.
