Sorry to be a bore, but I still cannot get the Pgs 4.1.6.24 Pro to accept a
PDF doc. It will not even accept a PDF file that it has made itself. Says
that it does not recognise the file type.

Any help gratefully received.

OK Frank, not all pdf files are recognized at this time.
But since you have enough RAM, you can load PageStream.pdf.
If you haven't have it, it's downloadable in the same place where you
found your PageStream Pro.
At the bottom there is a link to the manual (>2 MB).
If you have it, open PGS and open that pdf-file in PGS. There are two
possibilities.
One loading possibility is called editable and one is accurate.
Now it's a mixed bag what is the best, but I CAN load this pdf-file.

Hopefully this helps.

Thank you Theo,

But there is something weird. I do not get this option 'editable' or
'accurate''.
If I select Open document; then select PDF files and then select the PDF
file to load; I am not given any options other than to click on OK.
When I do this, the file is rejected. Everytime.
