Hi,

I just noticed an oddity in the file dialog for the 4.1 Beta. In the old
version, all files with the PageStream template extension (.TEM) show up
in the dialog. In the Beta you need something like ".TEM.pgs" even when
"all formats" is selected for the dialog.

You must have your preferences set differently. If you choose "All formats"
it will show all formats _whose extension it recognizes_. If you choose
"All Files" it will show all files no matter what the extension. Which of
the two it defaults is controlled in prefs->files

So I do. The older version dialog defaults to All Files and the Beta
defaults to All Formats and I didn't notice the All Files option when I
opened the list box. For some reason I thought ".TEM" was a recognized
PageStream format denoting a template document. I must have a dozen or
more documents so named, some going back to when templates were first
introduced to the program. Perhaps I adopted the extension for my own
convenience, although I can't think why since I always put them in a
separate Templates directory. Oh well. Sorry.
