Has anyone managed to get PGS 5.0.1.31 to successfully print out?

Frank, it prints on my system, but it takes about 2 minutes from the
time I click print until my printer starts printing. There are a couple
other things that seem to take a long time, but I have not been able to
do much on my computer with PageStream for a while so I don't remember
at the moment what they are.

I have PageStream 5.0.1.31 Pro, 4.1.6.31 Pro and 4.1.5.8 installed on my
computer with a common data file. Lately I have been using 4.1.5.8 most
of the time because it generally gives me fewer problems for what I do
on a day to day basis.

I changed from Win98SE to WinXP Pro just recently and the only
difference that I have noticed is that I don't have my Type 1 fonts set
up yet.

On my printer setup there are two Epson printer items that show up and
one will print, while the other causes PgS to just quit. I have not
investigated what the difference is between them.

Hope this helps somewhat. But I do remember I spent quite a bit of time
getting the printing to work. I don't remember doing anything special,
IIRC it just started working. Wish I could help more.

PS: I just remembered that I could not get my second (inherited) printer
to work at all (HP 940 c) with 4.1.6.31 Pro and 5.0.1.31 Pro. I have to
admit that I did not try very long or very hard to get it to work, though.

My problem is that I get 1/8th inch white bands of non print at about

3/4ths inch apart right down the page. It is lines where there is no ink.
It does not alter the print size in any way. It is totally consistent and
repeatable. Deron was going to send me a program to help him
sort it out, but so far he hasn't had the time.

PGS 4.1.5.8 and earlier give no trouble neither do any other programs.
It has done this with two different printers.
