Hi Deron;

Many happy returns of the season.

I've found a repeatable crash (error in SOFTLOGIKOSLIB.DLL).
I don't know if I can tell you enough that you can repeat it
but it surely works here.

- - - There's to much description here so jump down - - -

I am working with a document brought over from the Amiga.
It'll be version 3, as I didn't have version 4 on the Amiga.
The fonts had to be substituted, and through the requester I
asked it to convert them. (I thought that once the fonts
were converted and the document saved, that from then on the
conversion requester would not come up, which is not the
case) The original document was single sided, I converted it
to double sided with a left and right master page. Because
the inside margin is wider there was some moving to do. I
did all that with little problem.

The problems came up when I was working on the master pages.
I first selected all the objects on the Right Master page.
Then I copied (^C) then and pasted them on the Left Master
page. That all worked, then the objects were moved
(actually, it crashed the first time but work after). Later
I was changing the page numbering. I made the change on the
Right M. page then did a copy of the object to replace the
one on the Left M. page. When I did the copy (^C) of the
single object PgS asked me if I wanted to convert the fonts.
It hadn't done that when I did the multi object copy
earlier. I pasted the object with no problem, but when I
moved it, as soon a I took my finger off the mouse button
PgS crashed. I tried doing the same series of actions
several times and it always crashes.

So then I went to the Right Master page and Duplicated the
object instead of Copy. PgS asked about font conversion. I
tried to move the duplicate of the object, still on the
Right Master page, and PgS crashed as soon as I took my
finger off the mouse button.

I just now tried moving the duplicate object with cursor
keys. The object could be moved all over the place with no
problem but as soon as I tried to move it with the mouse PgS
crashed. When I had been positioning the objects earlier I
had used the cursor keys.

- - - - - - - - to here - - - - -

After more testing it comes down to the fact that if an
object is moved on the master page or in the main document,
by the mouse, PgS crashes. This is in a doc. generated on
Win -.34 Pro.

Hi John

Yes much better.
Sounds like an urgent message too.

Happy New Year Smile
